About ‘Valentina’  

The ‘Valentina’ Gromit sculpture was inspired by a traditional nesting toy or matryoshka doll. Its gorgeous bright reds and yellows, rosy cheeks, and floral adornments make this pooch irresistibly cute.  

The full-sized sculpture featured in the 2020 exhibition, Gromit Unleashed: The Grand Adventure at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol.  

About the artist  

Carys-ink, real name Carys Tait, is an illustrator and designer based near Bristol. She’s no stranger to Gromit Unleashed sculptures, as she also painted and designed 'Blazing Saddles' and 'Grrrrromit’ sculptures from the first Gromit Unleashed trail in 2013.
