Danyah will create a bespoke storytelling session especially for your school. This could include a whole school assembly followed by up to two spontaneous storytelling workshops. During her visit Danyah will work with teachers and children in various ways including riddles, tongue twisters, songs, warm up and storytelling games and creating stories together. 

All the children will have a chance to participate, play, observe and listen.

When his creator dies he is left alone and unfinished with only scissors for hands until a kindly townswoman invites him to live with her suburban family. Can Edward find his place in the well-meaning community which struggles to see past his curious appearance to the innocence and gentleness within?

Michael Morpurgo is one of Britain's best-loved children's book writers. He has written more than 100 books and has won the Smarties Prize, the Whitbread Award, and most recently the Blue Peter Book Award for PRIVATE PEACEFUL.
