Support tide by entering tide's Christmas raffle to be drawn at the tide Virtual Christmas Fair on Saturday 19th December at 2.30pm. Tickets cost £2 and you could win one of the following prizes:

  • Stadium Tour of Glasgow Rangers FC
  • Boxes of Chocolate

All money raised from the raffle will do to help carers and former carers of people with dementia. Purchasing £10 worth of tickets could cover the costs of hosting our carer resources on our website. Purchasing £30 worth of tickets could cover the cost of two Carer Development Leads to host one Carer Coffee Morning.

TIDE - Together in Dementia Everyday

At tide (together in dementia everyday), we firmly believe that carers and former carers are the true agents of sustainable change. We unlock their skills and confidence by investing in them through our Development Programme and through the collective voice of our UK Wide Involvement Network. Carers use their lived experiences to influence communities, society, health and social care organisations, research and policy development. We do this because carers make up the largest dementia workforce (44%) and they contribute £13.9 billion to the care economy every year. Working with carers of people with dementia as equal partners leads to better outcomes for people with dementia and carers and enables staff to do a better job. We believe that carers lived experience and voice should be equally respected, valued, heard and acted upon as equal partners alongside professionals.
