Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. Billy, Max and Kirk will be participating in RideLondon on Sunday 28 May 2023 to raise money for one of our chosen charities, Include.org, who are local to our head office in Redhill, Surrey.

The RideLondon-Essex 100 route

The Ford-RideLondon-Essex 100 route will set off from Victoria Embankment in central London, head past the Olympic Park and through the London boroughs of Westminster, City of London, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Hackney, Waltham Forest and Redbridge before coursing into Essex via Epping Forest.

Riders will then glide through some of the county’s most picturesque towns, villages and countryside – including Epping, Ongar, Great Dunmow, Felsted and Writtle – with a section of the route replicating the 2014 Tour de France stage that went through Essex and finished in London.

Once back in the capital, participants will complete their ride to rapturous applause at Tower Bridge – a jaw-dropping Finish Line for the 100-mile challenge.

Include.org

Include.org is breaking down barriers for people with communication difficulties.

1 in 5 people in the UK will experience an understanding or speaking difficulty at some point in their lives - or throughout their lifetime.

The consequences of finding it hard to speak or understand include loneliness, exclusion, mental health difficulties, poor health outcomes, reduced employment chances and more.

Include.org provides speech and language therapy-based community projects and training which:

• Promote inclusion and wellbeing

• Empower people with communication needs

• Develop communication skills with individuals, services and communities.

Supporting

Rebuild and Grow 2023 from Include.org

Help us rebuild community connection and inclusion for people with communication needs.

People with communication needs, learning disabilities and autism have had a hard time due to Covid, increased cost of living and pressures on support services.

Now it's time to work hard - rebuilding and growing a more inclusive community than ever before.

  • Over the last couple of years, Incude has adapted and grown and developed to include:
  • Stroll and Sign sessions which build communication confidence and wellbeing in a natural environment
  • Champions Group to develop our Easy Read resources and Training
  • The Include Choir is now a combined Face to Face and Digital Service and we also have a second Include Choir due to popular demand!

Please help us continue to build and grow, breaking down barriers for people with communication needs in the local community and beyond.

No matter how small the donation - every little helps!
