Punk 4 The Homeless are urgently appealing for your help to raise funds to cover medical expenses for emergency pre-natal surgery for Rashid's girlfriend and mother of their child.
Rashid and his girlfriend had been eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child, when doctors informed them that she would need to undergo emergency surgery in order to save the life of their unborn child (and possibly even the mother-to-be's life).
Fortunately both the mother and the baby are alive and well and we congratulate them both on the birth of their beautiful baby girl Rachel Sesay!
But we still need help to raise the medical expenses which are around £1500.
We know these are tough times for everyone, but if there is anything that you can do to help this couple it will go a long way to helping!
Those of you that know Punk 4 The Homeless will know the immensely important work that Rashid (founder and father of Hope Orphanage) and his family do to protect and care for orphans and street children in Sierra Leone, taking as many as they can in to their own home.
