Story

I'm taking part in RideLondon in support of TOFS. TOFS is a charity set up for those born with conditions OA and TOF which stands for Oesophageal Atresia (OA) and Tracheo-Oesophageal Fistula (TOF). OA/TOF are rare congenital conditions of the oesophagus (food pipe) and/or trachea (airway) that affects 1 in every 3,500 people. This is a charity which means a great deal to me and my family, As our son, Matthew now aged 34 was born with TOF.

A talented footballer at 6'4 and he's gone on to own his own estate agency in Gloucester and is a father of a lovely daughter with another child on the way. I hope this gives hope to those parents of children who have challenged with TOF, as Matt as not allowed his TOF stopping him from achieving things in life.

Completed !!

All went very well on the day and I got round safely.

Windy and wet, at times -  4 hours 31 in the saddle and all for a great cause.

A huge thankyou for the support and donations. I have surpassed my target and am chuffed to bits as TOFS relies upon every penny.

Also, thanks to the organisers and all of the support along the route - it really helped.

Two weeks to go !

Training going well - several 35 plus rides and a 50 under the belt. Looking to complete two more long rides, and spend  longer times in the saddle. Luckily the weather has been kind.

Thankyou to all who who have contributed and please do spread the word as every penny counts for TOFS, a charity that survives solely on donations.
