Story

During Carers Week on Thursday 13th June, Young Carer community worker Angelika is set to climb as many laps as possible within 3 hours to reach the height of a Munro at the Ledge Climbing Gym, Inverness. Angelika will then hike up to the Fyrish Monument as many times as needed to reach the 3,000ft goal. Some of our Young Carers will join the Big Climb and support Angelika to raise money for respite activities and social groups for Young Carers in Inverness & Nairnshire.

The Big Climb & Connecting Carers drop in at The Ledge, Red Point Café:

Between 12pm – 1.30pm.

Supporting

Connecting Carers

At Connecting Carers we work with unpaid carers every day and have learned a great deal from them. We use this knowledge, and our position as the Highland Carer Centre, to ensure that unpaid carers in Highland are not caring alone, that they are acknowledged and supported and that they have access to the information they need to enable them to carry out their caring role.

When

From 28th May 2024. Until 27th June 2024.
