Here we go again!!!

These rides are not getting easier, this year we have over 600KM planned from Huesca (near Zaragoza) up and over the Pyrenees  into France via Andorra and then back over them into Spain heading towards the mountains of Girona where we finish after 5 very hard days.

Climbing around 2500M- 3300M per day, this once again is not for the faint of heart but I have 11 other Ensono lycra-clad warriors joining me for this year's pursuit.

Help support our team of Ensono "elite" cyclists as they follow some of the toughest climbs from the Vuelta.

As a team, we have raised over £90,000 for various charities as part of these extreme bike rides and we continue our quest towards £100,000

As usual, I am raising money for Shooting Star Childrens Hospice, but this year I am also allocating 25% to a charity that is currently doing everything it can to help improve the survival rate of Pancreatic Cancer which is a disease that is currently impacting a close family friend. Biggest ride not only of the year but of all time, 215km (130 M) with more than 2600M of elevation, was a long day in the saddle but the tail wind down to IoW helped a lot!

Training is going well although slightly concerning its taken me over 100 rides to cover the same amount of elevation I will need to cover in 5!

Shooting Star Children's Hospices

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across south-west London, north-west London and Surrey.

We’re here to make every moment count, whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months, or years. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional, and medical care. Our specialist care and support is free of charge and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We support around 600 babies, children, or young adults who have a life-limiting condition and their families, as well as around 400 bereaved families. It costs £12 million a year to run Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, so we rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our services going.
