Our Regional Lead has lost it and is going to jump out of a plane. Let’s encourage him by donating!
Who are Care4Calais?
You may have heard of us recently — we’ve been in the news and the courts, challenging the lawfulness of the Government’s cruel Rwanda policy.
The Liverpool branch of Care4Calais works hard in the local community, helping refugees who are often traumatised, friendless and displaced from family. Our volunteers dedicate their time to enabling them to access healthcare, educational and legal support, and basic necessities.
We currently have around 80 volunteers (including some who were refugees themselves).
In March 2022, over 2,500 refugees were in the Liverpool area alone.
They all need support in some way.
Want to make a difference?
Simon’s skydive will take place on November 12th, meaning we have just over a month to hit our target of £1,000.
Your donation will give him the courage to make the jump and will go to a good, local cause. We’ll use your contribution for things like:
- A weekly advice/donation distribution drop-in
- Baby necessities
- Toiletries/sanitary products
- New shoes and clothes
- Toys and educational resources for children
So…
Simon says, ‘Click ‘Donate’ below.’
Simon says, ‘Contribute whatever you can spare.’
Simon says, ‘Pat yourself on the back — today, you’ve made a difference.’
