This is page for sponsoring and supporting our team of 50 Sassy walkers, walking in memory of Annabelle, who passed away in January.

Annabelle loved her birthdays, she was always planning the next one straight after.

Annabelle was the brain storm behind our name, Batten Fighters Forever - BFF. We thought it would be a great idea to remember Annabelle on her birthday by organising an annual sponsored walk, a Sassy walk to remember her. Raising awareness and funds to support children with Batten Disease each step of the way.

28th September 2024, will be our first Sassy Walk. 18 miles along the Castleman trail, starting at Christ Church, Creekmoor and ending with a celebration at the Elm Tree Pub, Ringwood.

At The Elmtreee pub there will a be a BBQ, Raffle and live music.

Batten Fighters Forever

Batten Fighters Forever (BFF) is focussed on raising awareness of Batten Disease and the support needs of children and families with Batten Disease. BFF will provide grants to directly assist children and families as well as other charities and organisations providing support.
