We are a group of colleagues who work at Maxim Logistics, Corby and in April are completing the Three Peaks Challenge.
We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for small charity based in Leicester called Adapt for premature babies. The charity provides care and support to families with premature and poorly babies on the neonatal units at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital. Both hospitals providing a full range of care for babies in the East Midlands.
This charity has been chosen as a colleague has experienced this first hand after his grandson was born 7 weeks early, spending the first 3 months of his life in the LRI.
Adapt provide 'baby packs' (as shown below) for the families on the neonatal units and provide additional support through coffee mornings and baby groups, all whilst relying on donations alone.
