Join me in honouring the memory of Bill and Joan Dickinson.
Bill was a courageous man who fought valiantly against cancer until his passing on April 13, 2023.
Joan, Bill's wife, peacefully left this world on January 2, 2024, at home with her family by her side. Known for her unwavering strength and prioritising family, Joan maintained her spirited nature until her final moments. Now, she and Bill are reunited once again.
On April 14, 2024, I will be running the Manchester Marathon in remembrance of Bill and Joan.
Bill was a true fighter and a devoted family man who cherished his loved ones above all else. He was always there for them, willing to go to great lengths to ensure their happiness and well-being. Unfortunately, Bill's life was impacted by asbestos poisoning, a silent danger that affected his health and ultimately contributed to his battle with cancer.
During his final days, Bill and his family received invaluable support from the Merseyside Asbestos Victims Support Group. This charity provided guidance, care, and compassion, helping them navigate the challenges they faced. The family is profoundly grateful for the assistance they received during such a difficult time.
To express gratitude for the support provided by the Merseyside Asbestos Victims Support Group, I am committed to raising awareness and funds for this remarkable organisation. By participating in the Manchester Marathon, I aim to bring attention to the dangers of asbestos poisoning and the importance of ongoing assistance for those affected by it.
Your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of individuals and families impacted by asbestos-related illnesses. Every donation, no matter the size, will help the Merseyside Asbestos Victims Support Group continue their crucial work of providing support, raising awareness, and advocating for justice.
Please consider donating to this worthy cause and join me in honouring the memory of Bill and Joan Dickinson. Together, let us make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by asbestos poisoning and ensure that no one faces this battle alone. Your generosity will carry on Bill and Joan’s legacy of strength, love, and support for their family.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support. With your help, we can create a brighter future for those in need.
