Nearly 2 million people in England and Wales experience domestic abuse every year, with women making up 70% of victims and survivors. This festive season, at Women's Aid in Luton, we aim to raise £4,000 to deliver a wellbeing programme for women and children who have fled domestic abuse.
The violence, emotional abuse, and coercive control they’ve endured often result in complex mental health challenges like PTSD and anxiety. Our wellbeing programme is a vital lifeline, helping women and children heal, rebuild, and reclaim their lives. Through this programme, we strive to empower survivors to find their voices and live lives free from harm and fear.
Everyone deserves peace of mind — not just during the festive season, but always. Together, we can make this a reality.
