Hi everyone

I dared to fly. The Victoria Falls Bungee Jump is undoubtedly the most scenic bungee jump in the World. With the Victoria Falls themselves as the backdrop, and the mighty Zambezi River flowing beneath you. On the 18TH December 22 took a bold step, I ‘dared to fly’ bungee jumping off the famous Victoria Falls Bridge. An exhilarating experience, 111 meters of free-fall and 4 seconds of pure adrenalin!

To celebrate my feat, please partner with me to support BIGKID Foundation. 

BIGKID was formed in 2000 by Shaninga Marasha, who - while still in sixth form - started a mentoring programme for the young people at his school who were at risk of exclusion and on their final warning. Today the BIGKID Foundation offers sports engagement, leadership and mentoring programmes. Many of the young people they work with are gang affiliated and have been excluded from school, but through their involvement with BIGKID we have begun to see changes in behaviour.

BIGKID Foundation is a multi-award-winning youth and community charity established in 2008; our mission is to end youth violence. We work with over 2,500 young people annually and are experts in youth engagement. We equip young people to take control of their lives, find, develop and act on their own potential. We do this through three core programmes:

Community engagement - sports sessions including football, American flag football, tennis, boxing, basketball and tennis; youth club, creative arts social action, trips and residentials.

Mentoring - both peer mentoring and with adult mentors.

Breaking Barriers - our in-school leadership programme for young people at risk of exclusion, or otherwise vulnerable due to concerns around mental health or well-being.
