Story

Fruit and vegetables are a great source of vitamins, minerals and fibre and an important part of a balanced diet for children.

We provide fresh fruit and vegetable snacks for all children at Chelwood and although we are a state maintained nursery school, these snacks are not funded by the government. We have launched our Healthy Snacks Campaign to help us fund our daily fruit and vegetable snacks.

We would be grateful for any donations towards our campaign to help us to encourage healthy eating habits and contribute to our children's '5 a-day'.

We also welcome volunteers to help us chop and prepare our fruit, please speak to reception if you have any spare time to 'chop and chat' with us.

Thank you!
