There's just 4 days to go until Rob completes the Eton Dorney Triathlon on 25th September. This is what he's said about his experience:
"Training has been difficult but consistent, unlike anything I’ve had to train for before. I’ve found that diet has been key in how well the training goes that day or the next. I’m excited to get it done but at the same time, very nervous to see how it goes."
"In the two week run up to the triathlon, I have, and will be completing several half triathlons and keeping my training as consistent as it has been previously. I have been swimming and running around Bray Lake for the majority of my training and will continue to do so over the final weeks."
"I am very grateful for all of the support I have received over the past couple of months’ and am very appreciative of all of the money that has been donated to this amazing cause! The triathlon will take place at Dorney Lake and start at 8am on the 25th of September (a Sunday). Finger’s crossed I complete it around the 3 hours’ mark and will hopefully be wobbling through the finish line around 11am."
We are so pleased to see that Rob's target has been generously met, and some! Well done Rob, and best of luck for Sunday.

“We are excited to announce that Rob has already smashed his target of £1000 in one week, this makes the current total £2000 because of the donation match from Thomson Reuters!
We’ve had so many pledges of support that we’ve decided to increase Rob’s target to £1,500 (which makes a total of £2,500 with the match from Thomson Reuters) which will enable us to support even more young people through some very challenging times.â€
And of course, a huge thank you to all who have donated so far! From all of us at Grit."

When you change your thinking, you can change your world.
Our programmes do just that in universities, colleges, local authorities, schools and in communities.
Grit ignites passion, inspires people to discover in themselves, the power to choose and direct their own lives. We don't deal with behaviours or skills. We don't instruct, we don't teach, we don't advise. Grit is about self-reflection: examining your own behaviours, attitudes and expectations. Grit is about challenging your assumptions and biases, your limiting beliefs, doubts and fears. Grit's is about inspiring, challenging and sometimes provoking.
For more than 25 years the consistency, the systematic rigour of Grit's personal development and coaching practice has produced remarkable, demonstrable results. We wanted different results and Grit was different. Grit is authentic. Throughout the organisation, the values and actions of everybody at Grit embody the principles that shape and guide the work we do. Grit starts with you: we believe that when you change your thinking, you change your world.
