I am cycling 100 miles, the furthest I ve ever ridden, on the 29th May to raise money and awareness for TOFS.org.uk
My daughter, Ruby, was born with a rare condition called Tracheo-oesophageal Fistula syndrome with oesophageal artresia (TOF OA). This means she could not swallow and had to undergo life-saving surgery at just one day old.
Fast forward to 6 years, multiple operations and spells in intensive care later and you would never know she had ever had any problems!
TOFs.org.uk were a tremendous support during the difficult early years for which we are forever grateful, and the reason why I want to help raise money today.
Ruby, your determination, strength and energy will be on my mind throughout the ride and I look to you for my inspiration x
