Its was 50th anniversary in 2024!

Please help us in our work in supporting women, young people and children experiencing domestic abuse.

While we have made great strides in our 50 years, we still have a lot to accomplish.

Since the pandemic and cost of living crisis we have seen a significant increase in demand for our services.

That’s why we’d like you to consider donating to our 50th fundraising appeal, 50k for 50, where we aim to raise £50,000 in our 50th year.

We rely on donations to help provide our services on a yearly basis to women and their children who contact us. Making a donation could help make a difference to the women and children whom we support.

£5 could help purchase materials for a child to take part in a children's group activity like baking or an arts and crafts project to gain confidence and encourage involvement with others.

£10 could help provide an emergency pack for a woman fleeing domestic abuse. In many cases, women turn up at DWA with only the clothes on her back. This could help to provide essential items.

£15 would cover our wonderful volunteers who support our women and children expenses for a day. 

Every donation, regardless of the amount, will help make a difference to the women, children and young people who access our support and services.

To ensure we can add in all our totals we will keep the Dundee Women's aid Facebook page and Instagram account up to date with our totals so far.

23/12/2024- Thank you for all your wonderful donations, every penny does count! It means so much to us and the women and children we support. We are so close to our target of £50,000, with £40,662 raised so far. Thank you for supporting us throughout 2024.

Dundee Women's Aid

Dundee Women's Aid is a domestic abuse charity and we provide a range of services including information, support and temporary refuge accommodation. We also provide a confidential, and non-judgemental service to women, young people and children who have experienced domestic abuse. The abuse may be from a partner, ex-partner or someone you are living with. We support all women experiencing domestic abuse. We do not discriminate on the grounds of: disability, intersex status, sexual orientation, religion and belief, race, or transgender identity.We hold the LGBT Youth Scotland charter mark and work with members of the LGBT community who identify as women.
