Basic First Aid & CPR Training

LOCATION: Warwick Junior School Assembly Room


COST: £30 per child



PAWS are delighted to offer WJS boys (years 3-6) the opportunity to attend a Basic First Aid and CPR Training Course run by First Care Training.


Specialist first aid trainers will be leading a fun and interactive basic life support first aid course tailored specifically for junior school children.


The following topics are covered on the course:

- Resuscitation (DR ABC)

- Recovery Position

- Choking

- Bleeds / Cuts /Burns / Scalds (the difference and treatment)

- Anaphylactic Issues


If you would like your child to attend please select the course time of your preference when booking, there are 20 places per course.


Each attendee receives a course certificate on completion which will count as one 'Serving The Community' Diploma Credit.



NOTES:


Please bring your child to the WJS Assembly Room 15 minutes before their course start time.


Please send your child with a drink in a water bottle.


Once you have purchased your tickets please ensure you complete the short questionnaire. This will enable PAWS to compile a register of children attending with emergency contact details.

Parents Association of Warwick School

The Parents’ Association of Warwick School (PAWS) is the parents and teachers association for Warwick School. We raise funds for PAWS through social events, the second hand uniform shop and then supporting charities such as Macmillan with the annual Foundation-wide Macmillan Coffee Morning and Big Breakfast.

Funds will be spent on a variety of items outside the school's normal budget..
