All Saints Benington, a Grade I listed medieval church dating back to around 1200, held its final service in 2001 and was declared officially closed in 2003. Since the formation of the Benington Community Heritage Trust in 2007, a £2.3m National Lottery funded restoration project has enabled the church to be reborn and reopen as 'The Beonna at All Saints'- a community hub and events venue in beautiful, rural Lincolnshire. Sympathetically refurbished to the highest standards, the doors are now open to hold community events, weddings and any other events you can think of. Although the Beonna is a newly refurbished and desirable venue, the upkeep of this stunning grade I listed building still requires fundraising for costly maintenance and- as an independent charity- relies on the generosity of the public to help our cause.
