About

Here you can donate directly to our campaign to raise funds to buy our land. Have a look at our Campaign Wall for full details...

We currently lease the land upon which our Scout Hut sits. Our current lease gives us an option to purchase the land in 7 years time, a timely 100 years from our beginnings. Purchasing the land, and avoiding its public sale, will protect the future of our Scout Group. This is where we need your support...the land has been valued at £40,000 so we plan to fundraise in as many possible ways as we can think of to raise the funds for the purchase.

You can create your own event to support us, or just donate direct here on this page. Every pound will inch us closer to our target to allow us to continue providing scouting to young people. All of the leaders and young people thank you for your support.

St Paul's Scout Group Land Purchase from St Paul's Scout Group Maidstone

St Paul's Scout Group started in 1930, and 93 years later we are still going strong! Based in Penenden Heath, Maidstone, we are a Scouting Group with Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers ranging from 4-18, a total of 80 young people. Our group is run by a group of 15 leaders who all give up their time voluntarily to provide local young people with a fantastic scouting experience.

We currently lease the land upon which our Scout Hut sits. Our current lease gives us an option to purchase the land in 7 years time, a timely 100 years from our beginnings. Purchasing the land, and avoiding its public sale, will protect the future of our Scout Group. This is where we need your support...the land has been valued at £45,000 so we plan to spend our near future fundraising in as many possible ways as we can think of to raise the funds for the purchase.

Can you help? A direct donation or a fundraising event of your own to support us is just what we need. Perhaps you work for an organisation willing to donate? Or you fancy taking on a sponsored challenge? Maybe you can donate something for auction, or source raffle prizes for an event? If you'd like to discuss this, or any fundraising events with us, please contact us at st.pauls-scouts@hotmail.com.

We have a public Facebook page that you can follow which will have updates regarding our progress, we'd love to see you there. https://www.facebook.com/stpauls.scoutgroup.maidstone

Please help us secure our future. With much love, The St Paul's Scout Group team.
