Shropshire Supports Refugees

Shropshire Supports Refugees (SSR) provides a range of services, goods, support, help and advice to the refugee community across the county of Shropshire to actively support their integration into the local communities, and we assist refugees through year 1-5 and beyond. We bring education on the topic of refugees and migrants into the county and harness support from the community . We have facilitated many offers from people in the local community to assist in one way or another and we have many active volunteers who support individual families. We facilitate offers from the public, requests from our client group, in the past we have run women's groups, men's groups, family activity days, we currently run youth groups, liaise with other organisations, host parties and raise awareness in the community. Our services are ever evolving to meet the changing needs of our clientele base.
