ACT Foundation is a charity dedicated to caring for all life on earth. We support projects both in the UK and internationally. Our activities include providing food, clothing and toiletries to the homeless in the UK and sending food and clothing abroad to needy people. We also support people afflicted by natural disasters and have sent aid such as food, clothing, and blankets. ACT Foundation works on small and large projects serving humanity, helping the helpless, giving dignity to the poor, and showing kindness and compassion to the less fortunate. P.K. Mohan created this charity in 2003 in honour of his daughter, Ammu, who passed away at 4 in a tragic road accident in 2000. She displayed maturity and purity way beyond her physical age, and during her brief sojourn on this planet, her love and charisma touched many people's lives. Through ACT, little Ammu lives on. ACT Foundation encourages us to find our ways of coming out of the lethargy, apathy and passivity induced by the stress and confusion of our daily lives and to value our free time as a precious opportunity to serve and express unconditional love towards Mother Earth, her people, plants, animals, and the natural systems on which all life depends.
