Lucy was a fabulous daughter and sister who was full of life and who brought joy and fun into the lives of all she met. She was a force of nature, who lived life to the full. Lucy was tragically killed together with our dog Simba in a road traffic accident on the 24th June 2024, aged 20. Lucy would not have wanted us to be sad, but would have wanted us to celebrate her memory. To that end we have decided to assist the Zambezi Sunrise Trust, in their fundraising efforts so that they can continue the fabulous work they do with the Linda Community School, the Nekacheya Primary School, the Linda Sunrise pre-school and the many other projects that they support.

Lucy loved her time teaching at a school in Zambia in 2023, and working with the babies.

Zambezi Sunrise Trust

The Zambezi Sunrise Trust supports children and education in Zambia through the construction of school facilities and the provision of books, computers and other learning materials. It also supports two women's empowerment (craft) groups. Although based in the U.K., it has received donations from countries around the world.
