Home-Start is a local charity and voluntary organisation based in Watford for the last thirty years. We are part of a national charity and across the country; there are over 250 local Home-Starts.Here at Home-Start we are committed to promoting the welfare of children under the age of five and their siblings. Trained volunteers visit families weekly for two to three hours in their homes. They offer support, friendship and guidance when families need it the most. These weekly visits make a huge difference to a family who maybe isolated, coping with family breakdown or struggling with their own health needs.

What impact will your donations have?

£10 enables a family to attend a Family Group, overcoming social isolation and building positive support networks

£25 enables a home-visiting volunteer to offer a family practical and emotional support

£45 enables a parent to attend an accessible counselling session with free childcare

£50 enables our team to train a home-visiting volunteer so they can support families
