The food distribution program marks the beginning of FFLV, and the distribution has been going on for the past 25 years and people have benefitted greatly from it. Every morning our school kids from nursery get fresh milk and cookies for breakfast. Daily thousands of kids get fresh healthy lunch from our school kitchen and clean water within our school premises. This meal is full of nutrition and is important for the education and overall development of these kids. Every evening we have our Kitchri distribution program that feeds hundreds of needy women and children. Apart from this, we organize feasts for widows, blind, sadhus, laalis (little girls) whenever we have a sponsor. Our Food for Families program provides rations for needy families of our school children every month.

Food For Life Vrindavan UK Ltd

FFLV has been working in Vrindavan area since 1991. Our work includes free Meal Distribution, Cleaning and Tree Planting, Sewing and Embroidery Centre (providing training & employment opportunities for village women). Primarily, FFLV runs schools providing free education, meals, skill training and medical help to over 1,500 girls in Vrindavan, India. Over the past 30 years of working at grassroots, we saw the intense hardships a girl faces without an education, Child Marriage being the most common one, where she is forced into an adult role at an early age. FFLV aims to keep the girl in school until she is 18 to prevent early marriage. We also encourage and support the girl to pursue university education if she wants. FFLV educates poor girls in Vrindavan, empowering them to transform their lives and communities, through a service orientated approach, committed to integrity and excellence.
