Winter is a hard time of year for anyone keeping a horse as costs increase with the need for more feed, bedding and care. Unfortunately, this year the costs of these things are higher than ever and it’s even harder for our wonderful equine welfare charities, as they have to find the funds to care for all of their rescued horses and to help new horses in need.

So instead of Christmas cards, we would love everyone to share pictures of their animals with us on our posts and to donate anything they can to help Here4Horses this Christmas, so that the horses in need in our area can have the best start in the New Year. As a thank you for your support, Clevedale Vets Equine will also donate a percentage of the total amount raised in addition to what we raise through this page. We also have three free routine equine dental examinations and treatments up for grabs in a draw at the end of the fundraiser. All you have to do is donate via this fundraiser and leave your contact details when you donate (they will only be used to let you know if you’ve won) and we’ll inform the three lucky winners via these details.

If you don’t have a horse and you win, you can gift your prize to a friend or gift it to one of the horses at Here4Horses.

At Here4Horses, we believe that all horses and ponies deserve kindness, respect and knowledgeable care.

If you share our belief, then sponsoring one of our horses or ponies is a great way to help make a real difference.

It takes time and expertise for us to bring a horse back to its best, they all have individual needs. During the rehabilitation process we desperately need sponsors to help fund accommodation, care and training. When we are sure the healing process is complete, only then do we look for a foster carer or second chance home.

We have many ponies currently in our care or out in foster homes, all seeking a friend to sponsor them. Click Here to see our stable of ponies on our website.

Rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing horses is not an easy task. Being a sponsor means you are giving vital funds to help us to provide expert care to neglected and unwanted animals.

Your money goes directly towards their rehabilitation including stabling, veterinary and training fees.
