In 2021, Dave Bateson was told he had stage 4 melanoma which had spread to his liver, lungs and spine. He was treated at Addenbrooke's. The development of new cancer drugs have saved his life. He was lucky. Others aren’t and there is still much more to do.
On the 2nd March we are holding a fundraising party to raise money for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) to continue the fight against cancer.
In the lead up to the night, we are holding an online auction for one special item.
A friend of Dave’s, Des Grech, has kindly donated an official signed Lionel Messi shirt to raise as much money as possible. It's the real deal and was signed shortly after he won the World Cup in 2022.
